ABOUT me

Behind the Lens

Philadelphia wedding photographer with a soft spot for chaotic dance floors, emotional parents, nervous groomsmen, and couples who swear they’re awkward in front of the camera.

about me

I'm michelle

I'm the person fixing your veil, keeping an eye on the timeline, making sure your family knows where to go, and somehow still catching the little moments you didn’t even realize were happening.

After photographing hundreds of weddings, I’ve learned that the best photos usually happen when people feel comfortable enough to stop thinking about the camera. So yes, I’ll tell you what to do with your hands. I’ll fix the stray hair. I’ll give direction when you need it. But I’m never going to make your day feel like one long photoshoot.

I’m fast when I need to be, calm when things get chaotic, and very aware that not everyone loves being photographed. Especially the guys. My job is to keep things moving, make the photo parts feel easy, and help you actually enjoy the day you spent all this time planning.

I care about the big stuff, obviously... the portraits, the ceremony, the dance floor, the people you love most. But I also care about the little things: your mom tearing up when she sees you dressed, your friends losing it during speeches, the way your partner looks at you when no one else is paying attention.

Your wedding doesn’t need to be perfectly posed to be beautiful. It just needs to feel like yours. That’s what I’m there to photograph.

Here for the real moments, the organized chaos, and the people you love most.

my favorite things:

01

places i've been

Havasupai, Alaska, Seattle, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica... always itching for a good trip!

02

kind of night

A good dinner, a banger playlist, a show I’ve seen 100 times, maybe a book, and absolutely no reason to leave the house.

03

shows to watch

Modern Family (I'm currently on probably my 30th rewatch), The Office, Key & Peele, Game of Thrones... and most recently.. (and embarrassingly) Love Island.

04

food

Fried chicken sandwich or birria tacos. Ideally both, honestly.

05

ANIMAL

Cats. My cats, your cats, random cats, cats I saw once and still think about. All of them.

06

part of my job

Helping couples feel like themselves in front of the camera, then  delivering photos that prove they were never as awkward as they thought. The reactions never get old.

about you

My couples are the high-energy, laugh-til-their-cheeks-hurt kind of people the ones who love each other hard, don’t take themselves too seriously, and want photos that feel alive

I’m all about making the day feel easy. I give clear direction, keep things moving, and read the room so you never feel awkward or overly posed. My approach mixes candid moments with natural guidance, focusing on the in-between stuff that makes the story feel real. You get to be fully in the moment and I handle the rest.
