Annette and Keegan’s January wedding at Water Works by Cescaphe in Philadelphia was everything a winter celebration should be; timeless, classy, and a little boujee. Even though the day was freezing cold, the love between these two (and the packed dance floor) kept everyone warm. And in perfect Philly fashion, Boathouse Row was lit up in Eagles green, which couldn’t have matched their black, white, and forest green color palette any better.

The day started at The Windsor Suites in Center City, where both Annette and Keegan got ready surrounded by their closest people. By the time they headed over for their first look at Water Works, the nerves melted into pure excitement. Despite the January chill, that moment overlooking the river was unforgettable; just the two of them, the city skyline, and the kind of energy that makes you forget how cold it is.

Their Cescaphe wedding ceremony and reception at Water Works brought all the elegant Philly vibes. Guests arrived to the iconic neoclassical architecture, the river views, and a reception space that felt both romantic and sophisticated. Annette and Keegan wanted their day to feel timeless with a boujee edge, and the design delivered; moody greens, chic black and white details, and that undeniable Cescaphe touch that always makes the room feel grand.

One of the biggest things these two were excited about was the food and Cescaphe weddings never disappoint there. Annette and Keegan are total foodies, and they made sure to enjoy every course right alongside their guests. But as much as they loved the food, they couldn’t wait to hit the dance floor. Their first dance to the Moonlight version of “Stargazing” by Myles Smith set the mood, and from then on, the party didn’t stop thanks to DJ Jay Roy.

Their story goes back to September 2020, when they officially started dating after crossing paths in college through mutual friends. Their first date at Morgan’s Pier was during COVID, and by their second date at Urban Village, they were so caught up in conversation that Keegan ended up with a parking ticket because they couldn’t stop talking. By December 2023 Keegan pulled off a perfect proposal, staging a fake work dinner at Spasso’s in Media before surprising Annette on the steps outside, and then revealing a house full of family and friends for an engagement party.

Together, Annette and Keegan are fun-loving, adventurous, and completely in sync. They spend weekends with pizza and wine at home, traveling with their sweet Cocker Spaniel, Brew, or heading out for Philly sports games (minus the Flyers). Their wedding reflected exactly who they are.. romantic but never too serious, elegant but ready to party, and above all, best friends who make each other laugh constantly.

Being their wedding photographer for this stunning Water Works by Cescaphe wedding was a dream. The combination of stunning architecture, that winter light, and a couple who was up for anything (even braving the cold for the best shots) made the day unforgettable. Annette and Keegan’s January wedding will always stand out as one of those classic Philly love stories; Eagles pride, incredible food, and a dance floor that didn’t quit.
